Laura Jenkins
Laura Jenkins is an attorney, the founder of Tikvah Supernaturals, and a voice for high-achieving women who are done running on empty.
For over 15 years, Laura has advised some of the world’s most recognizable brands as their in-house legal counsel, including Google, Meta, Airbnb, Intel, and PayPal as well as advising countless startups. She holds a J.D., an LL.M. in Intellectual Property and Technology Law, and a B.A. from UC Berkeley, and has spoken at Stanford, the London School of Economics, and TEDx.
Her path there was anything but smooth. Laura finished law school just as the 2008 financial crisis hit and spent years piecing together temp work, and renting out her San Francisco studio while sleeping on friends’ floors to make ends meet. Running on fear, caffeine, and too little sleep finally caught up with her, and her body crashed into severe burnout. When pushing harder stopped working, she learned the counterintuitive lesson that changed everything: rest is productive. Through faith, mentorship, and a radical shift in how she handled stress, she rebuilt her health from the inside out.
She discovered that true rest is not about spa days or vegging on the couch. True rest comes from within. One of God’s names is “Jehovah Shalom” — God is Peace. In her dark season, the Lord and her mentor challenged her not to see herself as a victim but to keep her eyes on Jesus: to see what He was seeing, to think what He was thinking and to ask different questions. Laura learned that as we begin to see from His perspective, and truly believe His promises over our lives, we develop the Mind of Christ - and He is not stressed out!
Through learning to rest and renew her mind, Laura’s body responded radiantly and she felt healthier and stronger than she had in 10 years. So healthy that when she married for the first time at age 45, she quickly became pregnant and delivered a healthy baby girl, again totally naturally, at the wise age of 46.
Giving up coffee was her least favorite physical part of her healing journey, so she created a more nourishing one. Tikvah Supernaturals (tikvah means “hope” in Hebrew) is organic coffee blended with adaptogens and functional mushrooms for calm, steady energy without the crash. She started it in 2020, with the Lord speaking to her in the midst of a global pandemic, then she launched it in 2024, when her daughter was 18 months old.
Today, at 50, Laura lives in Napa Valley with her husband and their spirited young daughter, who is the primary reason Laura continues to need both rest and coffee. Laura’s mission is to help women expand their stress capacity, build restful rhythms, and discover that real success starts on the inside.
